From Resort Mooi Bemelen, the beauty of South Limburg is literally at your feet. From your vacation home, you can step right onto the Bemelerberg for a walk with panoramic views, or explore the countless bike routes that wind through the rolling countryside. The central location is ideal: you can enjoy the serene tranquility of nature, while the lively atmosphere of the city is just a stone’s throw away. In just 10 minutes, you can be in the heart of the marlstone town of Valkenburg, and the Vrijthof in Maastricht is only a 16-minute drive away.

    Hoge Kempen National Park

    This nature reserve is just a short half-hour drive from our park. We highly recommend the ‘National Park Trail’ or the route around Terhills, where you can hike among the fens and enjoy a stunning landscape of mountains and lakes.

    Three-countries' point Vaals

    Visit the highest point in the Netherlands. This is where the borders of the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany meet. In addition to the famous maze, you can enjoy beautiful forest walks here that take you through three different countries in a single afternoon.

    Aachen

    In just 30 minutes, you can be in the center of the German city of Aachen. Admire the impressive Aachen Cathedral, shop in the charming shopping streets, or fully unwind during a day at the Carolus Thermen.

Can I visit Maastricht and/or Valkenburg by bicycle?

From our vacation park, it’s about 28 minutes by bicycle to the center of Maastricht. Valkenburg is about a 21-minute bike ride away. You can rent bicycles at our park during your midweek stay in Limburg .

When is your outdoor pool open?

Our heated outdoor pool, which includes a separate children's pool, is open from May through September. The pool is heated to approximately 25 degrees.
